Radisson Hotel Curico opened its doors. The new
hotel is minutes from vineyards as well as attractions
in the nearby commercial district. The 90-room hotel
features a 3,000-square-foot ballroom that can accommodate 250 people, with two additional meeting
rooms and a terrace on the eighth floor that has a view
of the city. The area is known for its wine and local
award-winning winery and vineyard, Miguel Torres,
has a wine shop in the hotel lobby along with an
on-site wine specialist who shares tips on must-visit
wineries and can coordinate winery tours for guests.

CAMBODIA
Rosewood Phnom Penh opened in the iconic 39-story
Vattanac Capital Tower. Atop the tallest building in the
capital city, the hotel offers 175 guest rooms, including 37 suites. There are four dining venues within the
hotel, offering French, Cambodian and Japanese cuisines. The
hotel features 9,500 square feet
of indoor meeting space that can
accommodate up to 300 guests.

EGYPT
Hilton Cairo Heliopolis opened
and the adjacent Waldorf Astoria
Cairo will follow in late 2018.
The 593-room Hilton property
is now welcoming guests and
the 247-room Towers Luxu-
ry Hotel will rebrand as the
Waldorf Astoria Cairo following a renovation that will
include a redesign of all guest rooms, a renovation
of the atrium lobby area and the addition of a spa.
The dual-branded complex features two ballrooms
totaling nearly 32,300 square feet, an amphitheater,
12 meeting rooms varying from 500 to 1,300 square
feet, prefunction areas and a business center. The
hotels also offer two swimming pools, a fitness center
and a health club. There will also be 17 dining and

PANAMA
The Luxury Collection Hotels & Resorts debuted in
Panama with the opening of The Santa Maria, a Luxury Collection Hotel & Golf Resort, Panama City. The
new hotel features 182 guest rooms with Panamanian
design elements that include the Guna Yala-inspired
traditional Mola blankets, handmade baskets from
the Embera community and wood mined from Gatun
Lake. The hotel offers two restaurants, a library
filled with curated books on Panama’s local culture
and the city’s only Nicklaus Design 18-hole, par- 72
championship golf course. There is 8,000 square feet

Riyadh Palace Hotel will be rebranded as the Crowne
Plaza Riyadh Palace. The hotel offers 304 guest
rooms and over 15,000 square feet of meetings
space. The 6,500-square-foot Diriyah Hall can accommodate up to 450 people for a reception. The hotel
also features an outdoor pool, Club Lounge, a spa and
